ICS (International Intracranial Stent Meeting) was established 2004 in Geneva by Prof. Pedro Lylyk, Prof. Makoto Ohta and Prof. Daniel A. Rüfenacht.

The mission of the ICS meeting is in view of discovery and translation in neurovascular diseases with an initially focus on the evolving aneurysm disease understanding, efforts to understand the role blood flow has for the homeostasis of the vascular wall and on how to correct blood flow by implants (stent, flow diverter, CFD).

The ICS invites a balanced mix of PhD’s and MD’s for an annual international meeting on this evolving topic to continuously encourage exchange and fructification between basic and clinical sciences.
